What a crazy mix of dishes to put into the title eh? Who on Earth puts some apple pie on his pumpkin bread and dips a few sugar cookies into the homemade guacamole :)? No one.
These are just some recipes on some cool sites that teach you how to prepare these meals. Before I tell you home to make each of these meals one little story. It's a really cool one :). All these sites have pretty similar look because the all come from one super cool template. At least I think its pretty good for food and stuff like that. Simple, clean so the recipes stand out... Anyway - this template had a link in the footer and if there is a link in the footer it is courteous to ask people that made the template if the link needs to stay there. This is the right thing to do. Actually the best thing would be to leave the link there for the hard work they did but if you do this for real and every link counts... well you might be rather willing to give them some money in return for removing the link. So you should ask if you can remove the link from the footer and I bet if you ask nicely and the fact that you even asked - they will say ok. Most of the people just delete. Plenty of people even pretend the template is their own.
So these cool guy said that sure, template is GPL and you can remove the link. Cool.
Now to the recipes. I like banana bread as I might have mentioned. And one bread that is pretty similar to it is pumpkin bread. It might sound funny to you...especially if you don't come from the states where pumpkins are very popular...pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving and stuff like that..but yeah..as said pumpkin bread is very similar to banana bread. So if you want to try it out - here are some pumpkin bread recipes. So...it's goooood :).
Next one is the oldie goldie of my recipes. Apple pie. Yummy. I love apples and anything made out of them. Apple pie was made by my grandma, greatgrandma probably great great grandma, my mum, my girlfriends mum, grandma etc... It's here, it's tasty, I love it and it was about time I learned how to make it myself. So here are apple pie recipes.
Moving on. Mexico man!!! Best surf on the planet. Well.. one of the best ones. Best food. Cool beer and drinks, tequila...cool stuff. And one of the things I didn't even like until recently - guacamole. Until I tried it it just looked like that green weird looking avocado dip that I would never tried. How was I wrong. It's great!!! So now I make this mexican appetizer almost every week and put it on to my bread if nothing else. How to make it - you need a guacamole recipe.
And finally... sugar cookies. I'm not that much of a cookie fan but I wanted something different, I wanted to try and make cookies at home and sugar cookies are one of the most popular ones...right up there with chocolate chip cookies. So if you want to make them at home - here is a sugar cookie recipe.. or a few of them.
That's it. Lessons for today - ask nicely and you will be heard. And make some cool meals at home and surprise your friends, family... they'll love it. All these recipes are really easy to make. I only choose simple recipes because I don't like spending time in the kitchen. I think it's a waste of time...
OK, I wrote quite a lot this time.. maybe next time again something a little bit more technical..

More great cookie recipes
It's been a long time. A long time since I wrote something. To make it up I should write about something tasty I think. Something yummy. Something like chocolate chip cookies. With milk. Mmmm.
I must say I am not much of a cook. I mean I love to cook and the results are usually very tasty but I am not educated in a way to know how to make all sorts of basic foods that any cook should know. I am more of a trial and error type, more go with the flow and add what feels right cook.
So when it comes to foods that are not rice+chicken+something I use recipes. So for todays chocolate chip cookies I suggest two really really tasty recipes - you must try the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies recipe and if you are watching your diet then don't miss this healthy chocolate chip cookies recipe.
I didn't miss them :) for sure :) many times :).
Enjoy!

Pancakes time!
I love pancakes. I love the thick American pancakes but I especially like the French type - thin crepe pancakes. Filled with Nutella. Yummy. I used to eat pancakes almost everyday when I was a kid. It seem this pancake love stuck with me until today.
So? The crazy weird thing is that I have never ever learned how to make pancakes myself. Until recently. I shaved my beard of shame, fired up my Firefox (3.6 is faster then the previous version I think, thumbs up. also like the personas) anyway - I have found some cool pancake recipes.
Now you would think that I would probably fist go and learn how to make pancakes that I used to eat every day - the thin French crepes. But no :) The first pancakes I have ever made myself (without any help) were these Chinese pancakes. LOL. They are not even real pancakes. But I did use some chopped spring onions and they tasted great.
And this concludes todays "where the hell did this came from" post on my mashed up blog.

New blogs on the block
LOL, are those New Kids On The Block still around? Yeah, I'm that old that I remember them. Right, enough about that. And more about a few new blogs. Why would you want to start a new blog? More blog is always better that less blogs. If you want to do some bussines online, why would you only have one? I mean, setting up a new blog takes like..well, it depends where and how you set it up..not that much time and definitely not that much money. If you do it on Blogger it's free.
If you get your own hosting and domain it costs a few bucks but it is a REALLY SMALL INVESTMENT if you consider that this very blog can also be an online bussiness. Well not this one, the hypothetical new blog.
If you want to earn something online than you need to get as much unique quality content online as possible. Build yourself a newtwork of blogs, sites, lenses, accounts, hubs, directories, forums... whatever. And next time you will want to promote something you will be miles ahead of the ordinary on blog guy.
Now to the two new blogs. The first one is about FOOD! Yeah, I love a good meal and I kind of like to cook, but I do not like to cook for very long time since this is time I would rather spend doing something else. So I created a blog about recipes that are simple, quick and easy to make - a Quick and Easy recipes blog. This means recipes that are not made out of some exotic plant or animal that only lives on Christmas island in the Pacific and only one store in New York sell. These are also recipes that do not require you to use all of your pots and pans and have a mountain of dishes to do later. These are just the kind of recipes that I like. Yeah, simple, quick,easy...
And the next one is a technology blog. I like gadgets, I own gadget, so why wouldnt I share some of my experinences with them. I used this blog a lot for blogging about my Nokia N85 and I think I will probably take this to my new blog that I have called The Stupid Technology Reviews Blog. Why Stupid? Because the name without stupind was already taken LOL, and because if I screew something up I can say - hey this is a stupid technology blog, what did you expect? LOL. Right, what I would like to point out is the beautifull template this blog has. At least to me :). I love it that is clean and simple without any crap and I love the color combination. It's just soooo much better than this white & blue over here.
I might change all my other blogs to that template...I'll see.
Anyway, guy (no guys, guy as in singular) get of your ass and start a blog yourself. Reading about it won't make it happen.
Mashed Potato Recipe
Did I post a recipe yet? The title starts with Food & Recipes and I didn't post a single recipe on this blog yet. Which sucks. So to fix this right here right now I will let you in on a little secret recipe...lol... that everyone already knows - Mashed potatoes recipe. So how do you make mashed potatoes?
It's really really really easy. But there are a few tricks to make them better.
1. Peel the potatoes.
2. Cut them in a few pieces.
3. Put them in a pan and cover them with (trick number one) COLD water. Add some salt.
4. Put the pan on your stove and boil.
5. When water starts boiling you can set the heat down a bit.
6. Cook for about 15 minutes - pierce a potato with a knife - if its soft its done.
7. Pour away the extra water and (trick number two) return your potatoes back to the fire. This will evaporate some more water from the potatoes and it will make them taste better.
8. Be careful not to burn them.
9. Add some milk and butter and mash the potatoes.
10. Mash them as you like, maybe you like some bits and pieces, maybe you want them smooth and creamy.
11. (trick number three) You can even mix them with hand held blender to make them extra fluffy.
12. And the final trick - eat them.
Sure this is the most simple recipe, and there are many more ways to make mashed potatoes. Maybe we will try them some other time.
Huh, I just noticed - mashed-up-blog and mashed potatoes go great together.
